Facebook announced through a blog post that they will begin notifying Facebook users whose information was “improperly shared” with Cambridge Analytica starting on Monday, April 8th.
Facebook also said they believe that Facebook information of up to 87 million people, mostly in the US, may have been shared with Cambridge Analytica. This is significantly more than the 50 million people that have been reported as being affected since the story broke.
